As COVID-19 vaccine distribution becomes increasingly available across the state of Florida, the Florida Department of Elder Affairs is issuing the following guidance for vaccinating people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias:
Remember, no single tool is going to stop the pandemic. Your best defense will include a combination of:
- Getting a COVID-19 vaccine,
- Wearing a mask,
- Staying at least 6 feet away from others, and
- Washing your hands often.
